Διαθέσιμη είναι από σήμερα νέα αναβάθμιση για το Apple TV φτάνοντας την έκδοση 5.1 και φέρνοντας υποστήριξη για Κοινόχρηστη Ροή Φωτογραφιών, αναζήτηση κινηματογραφικών trailers, υποστήριξη πολλαπλών λογαριασμών στο iTunes, δυνατότητα αποστολής ήχου από το Apple TV σε AirPlay συσκευές κτλπ.
