Maserati Ghibli και Quattroporte με 330 άλογα στη Σανγκάη

Αύριο ανοίγουν οι πύλες της φετινής έκθεσης της Σανγκάη και η Maserati ανακοίνωσε ότι μαζί με τη Ghibli θα παρουσιάσει εκεί και μια νέα έκδοση της Quattroporte η οποία θα φορά έναν V6 κινητήρα απόδοσης 330 ίππων, ειδικά σχεδιασμένο για τη Κινέζικη αγορά.

Η Ghibli θα είναι διαθέσιμη με δύο turbo 3,0-λιτρους V6 κινητήρες, οι οποίοι θα συνδυάζονται με ένα 8-τάχυτο αυτόματο κιβώτιο της ZF με paddles στο τιμόνι.

Η Ghibli γίνεται το πρώτο μοντέλο της Maserati που εξοπλίζεται με diesel κινητήρα, με τον 3,0-λιτρο V6 turbodiesel, ο οποίος δίνει στη Ghibli μέση κατανάλωση 6 λίτρα/100 χλμ. Η Ghibli θα διαδραματίσει σημαντικό ρόλο ώστε η Maserati να πιάσει τον στόχο των 50.000 πωλήσεων ετησίως.

Σχεδιαστικά δανείζεται αρκετά στοιχεία από την Quattroporte, αλλά διαθέτει πιο ελκυστική και επιθετική σχεδίαση. Στο εσωτερικό και στο πίσω μέρος, τα πράγματα κινούνται στην ίδια σχεδιαστική φιλοσοφία της Quattroporte.

Θα κατασκευάζεται στο πρώην εργοστάσιο του Bertone (Carrozzeria Bertone), το οποίο εξαγόρασε η Fiat τρία χρόνια πριν και θα δανείζεται τα ίδια υποπλαίσιο και την ηλεκτρικά ρυθμιζόμενη ανάρτηση της Quattroporte. Φυσικά στη περίπτωσή της θα διαθέτει διαφορετικές, πιο επιθετικές ρυθμίσεις. Θα κατασκευαστεί πάνω σε στην ίδια πισωκίνητη πλατφόρμα που φορούν τα Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger και Lancia Thema. Το αυτοκίνητο έχει κωδική ονομασία M157 και τον σχεδιασμό του τον έχει αναλάβει ο οίκος Pininfarina. Θα τοποθετηθεί απέναντι από τα Audi A6, BMW 5-Series και Mercedes E-Class και θα φορά αλουμινένιο σασί.

Together with a new 330 Hp Quattroporte purposely conceived for the Chinese market

Shanghai, China, April 19, 2013 – The Shanghai Motor Show, opening tomorrow with the press day, will mark three giant steps in Maserati’s march towards its goal of 50,000 cars a year.

The Maserati momentum that began late last year with the all-new V8 and V6 Quattroporte continues in Shanghai with the all-new Ghibli – the first-ever mid-size four-door luxury sports saloon in Maserati’s history.

The Ghibli will boast two different power outputs from its turbo-charged V6 petrol engines.

The Ghibli will additionally be offered with the first diesel engine in Maserati’s history. The turbo-diesel 3.0-litre V6, developed by Maserati engineers under the direction of Scuderia Ferrari’s former Chief Motorist Paolo Martinelli, will deliver traditional Maserati high performance and sound but will use less than six litres per 100 km on the NEDC fuel economy cycle.

Another Maserati making its world debut in Shanghai is a version of the new Quattroporte equipped with a V6 capable of 330 Hp (243kW) and specifically conceived and developed for the Chinese market.
