Spy Video: Jaguar XS 2015 στo Nurburgring, αύξηση κερδών για τη Jaguar-Land Rover το 2ο τρίμηνο

Στη Φρανκφούρτη η Jaguar θα ανακοινώσει την XS και αυτές τις ημέρες συνεχίζει τις δοκιμές εξέλιξης του νέου της entry-level αυτοκινήτου, που αλλού, στο Nurburgring. Το αυτοκίνητο θα κατασκευαστεί πάνω στην Premium Lightweight Architecture, μια νέα αλουμινένια πλατφόρμα και θα παρουσιαστεί στα μέσα του 2015 ως μοντέλα του 2016.

Μαζί με το SUV

της, θα κατασκευάζονται στο εργοστάσιο της Land Rover στο Solihull της Αγγλίας. Η XS έχει κωδική ονομασία X760 και θα εξοπλίζεται με διαφόρων χωρητικοτήτων και διατάξεων υπερτροφοδοτούμενους κινητήρες (turbo και compressor). Ανάμεσά τους θα συναντάμε τον 2,2-λίτρων turbodiesel κινητήρα απόδοσης 163 και 200 ίππων, των 3,0-λιτρο V6 turbodiesel απόδοσης 240 ίππων, τον 2,0-λιτρο turbo βενζινοκινητήρας απόδοσης 240 ίππων καθώς και τον 3,0-λιτρο V6 κομπρεσοράτο κινητήρα απόδοσης 340 ίππων.

Στις σχετικές ειδήσεις, η Jaguar-Land Rover ανακοίνωσε πως κατά το 2ο εξάμηνο του έτους, πούλησε 94.719 αυτοκίνητα (+10%), με τα έσοδα να φτάνουν τα £4.097 δις (+13%), με τα κέρδη να αγγίζουν τα £415 εκατ. (+25%).

Coventry: Jaguar Land Rover Automotive plc has today reported revenues of £4,097m for the first quarter of the 2013/2014 fiscal year, up 13% on the same period last year. (£3,638m in Q1 2012/2013).

Retail sales increased 10% year on year to 94,719 vehicles, reflecting strong demand for all Jaguar and Land Rover product offerings. The company generated positive sales growth in all regions: Asia Pacific up 37%, the UK up 13%, China up 11%, North America up 10%, Europe up 3%, and other overseas markets up 11%.

Profit before tax increased year on year by 25% to £415m for the quarter (£333m last year).

Commenting on the results, Jaguar Land Rover Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ralf Speth said: ”The result for the first quarter demonstrates that our full range of new and upgraded products is exciting our customers.

“Our focus is to put our customers at the very heart of everything we do. With our appealing British led design and innovative engineering, we remain committed to exceeding customer experiences in all areas of our business”.
