Teaser Videos: Cadillac Escalade 2015

H Cadillac έδωσε μερικά teaser videos του νέου Escalade το οποίο θα παρουσιαστεί στις 7 του Οκτώβρη στη Νέα Υόρκη. Σύμφωνα με την General Motors η επόμενη Escalade θα κατασκευάζεται πάνω σε μια τροποποιημένη πλατφόρμα των Chevrolet Silverado και GMC Sierra με την εξωτερική του σχεδίαση να μην διαθέτει ρηξικέλευθες αλλαγές.

Ωστόσο στο εσωτερικό οι αλλαγές θα είναι μεγαλύτερες, αφού σύμφωνα με τον Chris Hilts, διευθυντή εσωτερικού σχεδιασμού της GM, το εσωτερικό του νέου Escalade θα πρέπει να διαφέρει από αυτό των Chevrolet Tahoe και GMC Yukon.

Με τι κινητήρες θα εξοπλίζεται είναι κάτι που ακόμη δεν έχει επιβεβαιωθεί, αλλά σχεδόν σίγουρο είναι ότι ο νέος 6,2-λιτρων EcoTec3 V8 απόδοσης 420 ίππων με 450 Nm ροπής θα βρίσκεται στη γκάμα. Η κίνηση θα στέλνεται στους πίσω τροχούς, με το σύστημα τετρακίνησης να βρίσκεται στον πρόσθετο εξοπλισμό.

Cadillac to Reveal 2015 Escalade with Autumn de Wilde

Images and film show the all-new Escalade in an artistic light

DETROIT – Cadillac will unveil the all-new 2015 Escalade luxury SUV on October 7 with indie rock photographer and director Autumn de Wilde, who produced a series of portraits and a film highlighting the Escalade design process.

“I immerse myself in the world of my subjects. I suppose it’s not unlike a method actor’s approach sometimes,” said de Wilde. “My job is to give the audience even more of a reason to form a crush on this person or this object.”

De Wilde’s vivid portraiture gives her the perfect lens with which to capture the 2015 Cadillac Escalade from an artistic perspective. The images she created highlight the sophistication, luxury, and iconic nature of the Escalade in an expression different than that of traditional automotive photography.

Says de Wilde, “As a photographer, I am searching for those iconic portraits that makes you wish you were there. I am always searching.”

Autumn de Wilde’s portrait series and behind-the-scenes video of her visit to the Cadillac design will be revealed at the Escalade Global Reveal on October 7 in New York City.
