Δύο πρεμιέρες για τη Porsche στη Γενεύη

Η Porsche στην έκθεση της Γενεύης θα παρουσιάσει για πρώτη φορά στο ευρύ κοινό δύο αυτοκίνητά της. Πρόκειται για την Porsche 991 911 GT3 αλλά και την αγωνιστική Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.

Θα είναι η γρηγορότερη 911 GT3 που έχει βγει ποτέ με τον 3,8-λίτρων boxer κινητήρα της να αποδίδει περισσότερα από 450 άλογα. Τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα θα τα κάνει σε 3,5 δευτερόλεπτα ενώ στο Nurburgring θα γυρνά σε 7:34.

Θα κατασκευαστεί πάνω στο φαρδύ σασί της Carrera 4 και στιλιστικά φορά νέο bodykit με μεγάλη πίσω αεροτομή, διπλές εξατμίσεις τοποθετημένες στο κέντρο και αεραγωγούς στο καπό. Θα φοράνε μονομπούλωνες μαύρες ζάντες 20″ με ελαστικά Dunlop Sport MAXX διαστάσεων 245/30 μπροστά και 305/30 πίσω. Επίσης η Porsche ετοιμάζει και την Clubsport έκδοση της η οποία θα φορά roll cage στο πίσω κάθισμα.

Σε ότι αφορά την 911 (991) GT3 Cup. Θα συμμετέχει αποκλειστικά στο πρωτάθλημα Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup του 2013 και θα κάνει ντεμπούτο στο event “Night of Champions” το οποίο θα διεξαχθεί στο κέντρο έρευνας και ανάπτυξης της Porsche στο Weissach.

Μηχανικά φορά τον 3,8-λίτρων εξακύλινδρο boxer κινητήρα απόδοσης 460 ίππων σε 7.500 σ.α.λ, 10 περισσότερα από τη προηγούμενη γενιά. Συνδυάζεται με ένα νέο 6-τάχυτο αυτόματο σειριακό κιβώτιο με paddles στο τιμόνι το οποίο μεταφέρει την κίνηση στον πίσω άξονα. Το πλάτος των μπροστά σλικ ελαστικών της Michelin έχουν φαρδύνει κατά 2 εκατοστά, φτάνοντας τα 27 εκατοστά, ενώ των πίσω κατά 10 mm φτάνοντας τα 31 εκατοστά. Και τα φρένα του έχουν βελτιωθεί και έτσι φορά τρυπητούς/αεριζόμενους δίσκους 380 mm με εξαπίστονες δαγκάνες μπροστά και τετραπίστονες πίσω.

Η Porsche έδωσε ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στην ασφάλεια του οδηγού κατά τη διάρκεια ανάπτυξης του νέου αγωνιστικού και έτσι αυτό διαθέτει έναν νέο σχεδιασμένο κλωβό ασφαλείας που προστατεύει τον πιλότο σε περίπτωση σύγκρουσης ή ανατροπής. Το κάθισμα είναι και αυτό νέο το οποίο είναι ευδιάκριτα διαμορφωμένο γύρω από το κεφάλι και τους ώμους του οδηγού και μπορεί να ρυθμιστεί. Στην οροφή του αυτοκινήτου υπάρχει μια ειδική καταπακτή διάσωσης, η οποία παρέχει εύκολη πρόσβαση στην ιατρική ομάδα για τον απεγκλωβισμό του οδηγού.

Σύμφωνα με τον δοκιμαστή οδηγό της Porsche, Timo Bernhard, η νέα 911 GT3 Cup είναι πολύ πιο εύκολη στο να οδηγηθεί στο όριο, αφού είναι εξαιρετικά στημένη, με τη γεωμετρία του νέου άξονα να δίνει στο αυτοκίνητο άριστη οδική συμπεριφορά, κάνοντας την παράλληλα και απολαυστική στην οδήγηση.

Στιλιστικά διαθέτει νέο bodykit με μια τεράστια πίσω αεροτομή και η παραγωγή της θα γίνεται στο εργοστάσιο Zuffenhausen της Porsche στη Στουτγάρδη, στο ίδιο που κατασκευάζεται η έκδοση δρόμου της 911. Θα είναι διαθέσιμο αποκλειστικά σε λευκό χρώμα με αρχική τιμή τις 181.200 ευρώ χωρίς τον ΦΠΑ της εκάστοτε χώρας, με το κάθε ένα αγωνιστικό να δοκιμάζεται από επαγγελματίες οδηγούς στο κέντρο Motorsport της Porsche στο Weissach, προτού παραδοθεί στον πελάτη.

Sporty premieres in the 911 anniversary year

Stuttgart. Porsche AG has not only begun the year particularly successful, but 2013 also marks the anniversary of the company’s most iconic car: the Porsche 911 has for the last 50 years been equally at home on the racetrack as on the road. Its genetic DNA can be found in every other Porsche model. At over 820,000 units built, the 911 is the world’s most successful sports car ever. In addition to the anniversary, the International Motor Show in Geneva also provides a stage for two particularly sporty premieres on the Porsche stand in hall 1. The press conference on the stand takes place on March 5 at 10.45 CET.

The title ‘World Premiere’ truly applies here to the first appearance of an extremely exciting 911 model, which awaits with new engineering highlights, plus a whole lot more. The car’s driving dynamics and driving excitement are at an even higher level than before. For the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup this will be its first public unveiling. Delivering 460 hp, this single-make cup racer is the latest version of the car, which is, with a total of 2,400 units, the best-selling and most successful sports car in the world. The new 911 GT3 Cup is initially being deployed in the international Porsche Supercup 2013.

Management consultancy supports profitable growth of domestic and foreign companies in China

Shanghai subsidiary established by Porsche Consulting

Stuttgart/Shanghai. The international management consultancy Porsche Consulting GmbH, based in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany, are further extending their presence in Asia with a wholly owned subsidiary in China: Today, the newly founded Porsche Consulting Ltd. are opening their Shanghai offices. “Our range of consultancy services are geared towards the needs of both Chinese, as well as foreign companies that have established a presence in Asia,” as Eberhard Weiblen (49), President and CEO, explains. According to Weiblen, the focus is placed on “helping companies adapt their business processes to the high growth rates”. At the same time, productivity, as well as the quality of products and deliveries must be continuously improved. Weiblen: “These criteria are critical to future sustainability and competitiveness – since the demands of Asian customers for product and service quality are increasing dramatically.”

In Shanghai, the Porsche consultants are concentrating on their core competencies in the fields of production strategies, production systems, supply chain management, distribution, and, particularly, supplier management: “In China, it is comparatively more difficult for manufacturers to find efficient suppliers than it is in the West. They must often go through a development process before they are able to reliably meet the required quality levels, timeliness of delivery and technological standards”, says Dr. Heiko Rauscher (42), CEO of the Chinese subsidiary Porsche Consulting Ltd.

In Shanghai, Rauscher is set to start with an initial team of eight Chinese and German employees with strong experience in Asia. “We are planning to hire another three consultants this year,” the industrial engineer, who has lived for seven years in China and speaks fluent Mandarin, announces. Applicants should have consulting expertise in the automotive and supplier industry, aerospace or mechanical engineering, and be highly familiar with the Chinese language and culture.

The Porsche Consulting GmbH in Bietigheim-Bissingen is a subsidiary of the sports car manufacturer Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart. The company was founded in 1994 with initial staff of just four employees, and employs about 350 people today.
