Ακόμα, ο πρόεδρος του προγραμματισμού προϊόντων της Renault, Tom Lane, αποκάλυψε ότι σκέφτονται να μετατρέψουν το Espace σε ένα μεγάλο crossover. Τίποτα ακόμα δεν είναι δεδομένο αλλά ο Lane παραδέχτηκε ότι η αγορά των μεγάλων MPV συρρικνώνεται και δε μπορούν να βγάλουν άλλο ένα Espace σα το σημερινό.
