Στις αρχές του 2014 η παραγωγή του Spyker B6 Venator

Η Spyker στην έκθεση της Γενεύης παρουσίασε το B6 Venator Concept και τώρα, ο CEO της, Victor Muller ανακοίνωσε ότι, μετά τη θετική απήχηση που είχε το αυτοκίνητο στη Γενεύη, η οποία ήταν πέρα από τις προσδοκίες τους, αποφάσισαν να το περάσουν και επίσημα στη παραγωγή.

Η έκδοση παραγωγής θα είναι σχεδόν ίδια με το πρωτότυπο, με το αυτοκίνητο να τοποθετείται απέναντι από την Porsche 911. Το όνομα του προέρχεται από το αεροσκάφος Spyker Hunter

Μηχανικά φορά έναν V6 κινητήρα τοποθετημένο στο κέντρο απόδοσης 375 ίππων. Ζυγίζει 1.397 κιλά και φορά αλουμινένιο σασί και σώμα κατασκευασμένο από carbon. Ο κινητήρας συνδυάζεται με ένα 6-τάχυτο αυτόματο κιβώτιο που στέλνει τη κίνηση στους πίσω τροχούς.

Το μοντέλο παραγωγής θα βγει στην αγορά το 2014 και θα έχει έχει ίδιες διαστάσεις με αυτές της Porsche Boxster. Θα πωλείται σε Ασία, Ευρώπη, Ινδία, Αμερική και Μέση ανατολή και θα κοστίζει μεταξύ των 160.000 με 200.000 δολαρίων (€125.000 – 150.000).

Spyker Unveils B6 VENATOR CONCEPT to Rave Reviews, Confirms Production for 2014

ZEEWOLDE, THE NETHERLANDS–(Marketwire – Mar 27, 2013) – This month, Spyker N.V. (“Spyker”) unveiled its new B6 VENATOR CONCEPT at the 83rd Geneva International Motor Show to worldwide acclaim. The SPYKER B6 VENATOR CONCEPT is a 2-door compact sports car that will offer discerning drivers a unique alternative in the High Luxury Sports sector — one that delivers a rare combination of heritage, design, performance and exclusivity. Aside from Spyker’s GT endurance racers, the B6 VENATOR is the first Spyker to feature an all carbon fibre body atop a lightweight aluminium chassis. The B6 VENATOR CONCEPT will be powered by a V6 mid-engine boasting at least 375 bhp. Production will begin in the first half of 2014, with initial distribution rolling out first in Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and India — and then to the US in the second half of 2014.

Priced around $150,000 in the US, the B6 VENATOR will allow more access to the exclusive Spyker experience.
