The candidate must be able to create a product vision, to inspire the use of latest technology as well as to establish an effective and efficient software development process based on agile principles.Main Duties Architecture & Design of SOFTimpact’s new line of web based products. Selection of suitable software development processes and tools. Implementation, testing & validation based on Java/Scala & Javascript/Ajax Leading a team of junior developersQualifications University Degree in Computer Science At least 3 years of active software development & 1 year as team leader Experience using web development frameworks Experience developing with Java (server side) and Javascript (client side) Experience developing with Scala considered an advantage Experience designing data driven business applications Experience in agile of the SW development methodologiesSkills and Competencies Team Leading skills Ability to research technical issues and generate innovative solutions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Establish an effective system of comm. with team members and customers Strong Planning, organizational and interpersonal skillsSenior Business Software Analyst – FrontendDescriptionThe successful candidate will be part of a team of developers responsible in both migrating the existing products of SOFTimpact to a web based platform as well as developing new web based products and services. The focus of the candidate is concentrated on frontend related technologies required for modern business applications deployed on web and mobile platforms. The day-to-day challenge of the position will be to design and implement user interfaces, which are fast and powerful, but at the same time simplified to the maximum in order to ensure usability.Main Duties Implementation,testing & validation of web based front ends Identification and selection of latest front end technologies and trendsQualifications University Degree in Computer Science At least 2 years of active software development Experience with web client related technologies (Javascript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, JSON,..)
