The financial news editor will oversee the content being published online. Duties include writing, editing, proofreading, managing content/article writers, and managing webinars.

In addition the financial news editor will also be responsible for crafting site promotions, email newsletters and online outreach campaigns.

Responsibilities
Write, edit and review content;
Plan the contents of publications according to the publication’s style, editorial policy, and publishing requirements;
Assign topics, events and stories to individual writers or reporters for coverage; Verify facts, dates, and statistics, using standard reference sources;
Copyedit and proofread all content;
Interview and hire writers and reporters or negotiate contracts, royalties, and payments for authors or freelancers;
Keep current with financial news and information;
