Η Aston Martin άνοιξε τμήμα συμβουλευτικών υπηρεσιών

H Aston Martin ανακοίνωσε το σχηματισμό ενός νέου τμήματος, το οποίο θα παρέχει συμβουλευτικές υπηρεσίες. Οι υπηρεσίες της Aston Martin Consulting (AMC) θα περιλαμβάνουν το σχεδιασμό, τη μηχανολογία και την κατασκευή, με τη νέα αυτή πρωτοβουλία να παρέχει σε εταιρείες την ευκαιρία να εκμεταλλευτούν την εμπειρία της Aston Martin, ώστε να εξελίσσουν αυτοκίνητα και άλλα προϊόντα. Σε αντάλλαγμα, οι εταιρίες θα μπορούν να τοποθετούν να αναγράφουν στα προϊόντα τους “developed by Aston Martin”, με όλα τα καλά που αυτό

συνεπάγεται.

Το νέο τμήμα θα έχει βάση στο Gaydon, δηλαδή δίπλα από το εργοστάσιο όπου 1.800 εργαζόμενοι της Aston Martin εργάζονται για να κατασκευάσουν τα αυτοκίνητα της, με την βρετανική εταιρία να έχει συνεργαστεί στο παρελθόν με πελάτες, που ήθελαν να επωφεληθούν από την εμπειρία του ανεξάρτητου κατασκευαστή sport αυτοκινήτων, καθώς πρόσφατα έφτιαξαν το ταχύπλοο AM37, ενώ έχουν συνεργαστεί με το παγκοσμίου φήμης αρχιτεκτονικό γραφείο Foster + Partners, για το μελλοντικό λεωφορείο του Λονδίνου.

Aston Martin to offer consulting servicesServices will include design, engineering and manufacturing

11 March, 2016, Gaydon: Luxury British carmaker Aston Martin today announced the formation of (AMC), a new initiative to provide companies with the opportunity to engage with Aston Martin’s expertise centred on design, engineering and manufacturing.

AMC operations will be based at Aston Martin’s headquarters and manufacturing facility in Gaydon, Warwickshire where 1800 employees work to produce the company’s range of luxury sports cars.

Aston Martin CEO Dr Andy Palmer said: “We are often asked to collaborate on projects with other companies. My belief is that we can expand the provision of our expertise and experience even further. The formation of Aston Martin Consulting means that we can offer a more structured approach to these projects.”

Successful projects in the past have included a collaboration with Sir Norman Foster’s company, Foster + Partners, to design the London Bus of the future and more recently the stunning AM37 powerboat, created in conjunction with Quintessence Yachts.

Managing Director, Bradley Yorke-Biggs, will head Aston Martin Consulting. He brings extensive experience from his 14 years on the senior management team and is ideally placed to lead this new venture for Aston Martin. He said: “We are very excited to be able to extend the reach of the business to include the provision of services across different sectors; both automotive and beyond. We have an incredibly talented and experienced team within Aston Martin and we look forward to expanding our horizons as we work with new clients on interesting new projects.”
