Research Officer (Information)

Applicants are invited for the post of Research Officer (Information), located within the Office of the Vice-President for Research, University College Dublin. This is a temporary 5-year appointment.

Description

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing professional

support to the research community with regard to the dissemination of research funding information, the identification of funding sources and providing support in the submission of research proposals. S/he will also assist with the design and development of improved processes and procedures relating to funded research activity at UCD, whilst supporting the management information function, by designing and producing management reports relating to funded research activity, for use by management levels in the university.

2010 Salary Scale: €40,008 - €51,649 per annum
2011 Salary Scale: €36,007 - €46,484 per annum*
* Subject to all new entrants to public sector as of 01 January 2011

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
