The Dream Syndicate reunion!

Μία εξαιρετική είδηση μας επιφύλαξε ο αγαπητός Steve Wynn στο facebook σήμερα, αφού ο ίδιος ανακοίνωσε την επανένωση των The Dream Syndicate, με αφορμή τον εορτασμό των 30 χρόνων από την κυκλοφορία του εμβληματικού album  ”The Days of Wine and Roses“!

Το πρώτο full LP των Dream Syndicate κυκλοφόρησε τον Οκτώβριο του 1982 με μέλη

τους Steve Wynn στην κιθάρα και στα φωνητικά, τον Dennis Duck στα drums, τον Karl Precoda στην δεύτερη κιθάρα και την Kendra Smith στο μπάσο.

Τον ερχόμενο Σεπτέμβριο ο Steve Wynn, μαζί με τον Dennis Duck, τον Mark Walton - μέλος των Dream Syndicate από το 1984 έως το τέλος τους – καθώς και τον Jason Victor – σταθερό συνεργάτη του Steve Wynn τα τελευταία χρόνια, θα αποτελέσουν το νέο line up του θρυλικού συγκροτήματος, το οποίο θα επιστρέψει για τον εορτασμό των 30 ετών του “The Days of Wine and Roses“, σε μία σειρά από συναυλίες στην Ισπανία, και πολύ πιθανό και αλλού στη συνέχεια.

Ακολουθεί αυτούσιο το χαρμόσυνο μήνυμα του Steve Wynn:

“This September marks the 30 year anniversary of the release of The Days of Wine and I’m excited to say The Dream Syndicate will be commemorating the date by reforming for a handful of shows in Spain, the first time that Dennis Duck, Mark Walton and I will have performed as the Dream Syndicate since we walked off stage at the I-Beam in San Francisco back in 1988.

We’re going to be joined for these dates (and very possibly some more beyond) by Jason Victor who has so ably carried the torch of the guitarists who have played these songs with us before.

I’m really looking forward to these shows and I hope that some of you will have the chance to come down and see them for yourselves.”
